The idea is so simple that I'm a bit embarrassed to make such a big deal about it, but I think it has a lot of potential. What if you could control three parameters at once with a single movement?
Put a dot in a triangle and you get a relationship of three parameters. Geometry has a name for it, barycentric coordinates. The Triangle Controller turns it into an instrument that runs in a browser tab.
It started as an iPad app, then a Windows app. Each time I rebuilt it I wanted it to run in more places, and the browser is the one that runs everywhere, with iOS MIDI as one glaring exception. This is one of the reasons I created some audio-only modes. If this takes off, I'll build an actual app.
It has cousins. The Rectangle controls two parameters, then the Slider and the Knob do one. They all send standard MIDI control-change messages to control your DAW through virtual MIDI, or your hardware with a simple USB MIDI adapter.
